You are not anxious because you're broken. You're anxious because your body doesn't yet know it's safe to stop.
You've done the therapy. Tried the medication. You can explain exactly where this comes from.
You've tried meditating, but sitting still just makes the anxious thoughts louder.
You feel guilty when you rest, and anxious when you're not doing something.
You keep circling the same insight, waiting for it to finally change something.
This isn't a lack of effort. It's not a crisis. It's an awakening to a life that no longer fits who you're becoming.
And there's a way through that doesn't require you to think harder, or try harder to relax.
Let me show you how.

WAYS TO BEGIN
Three ways to get started working together:

Connect with a Free Clarity Call
This 15-minute, no-pressure conversation allows us to get to know each other a bit, so together, we can determine whether we are a fit to work together. I can help you decide where to start, and determine the kind of support that will be most valuable based on what you are experiencing now in your life.
Calls can be done over the phone, and if it's available, I'd love to see you over Zoom.

Book an Embodied Reset Session
Private healing session that integrates breathwork, somatic coaching and Reiki energy healing. In-person or online, these sessions are an ideal starting point that supports a calm, balanced nervous system and grounded, body-based clarity and growth.
Offered online or in-person in Kennesaw, GA, these sessions meet you where you are and help you determine the next best steps on your journey.

Join a Breathwork Class
Breathwork is the foundation to all we do at Defining Mountains. Like a work out for your nervous system, it's most effective as an ongoing practice. Breathwork can help relieve stress and anxiety, improve sleep and physical health factors, and support mental and emotional well-being.
Live group sessions and a growing meditation library. Try a class or become a member.

A BLENDED APPROACH
The mind doesn't heal in isolation. The body, heart, and spirit must be involved.
I teach about trauma, why our nervous systems do what they do, and how sustainable change actually happens, so that you can stop beating yourself up and learn to work with a system that's been stuck in survival mode for too long.
Informed by Internal Family Systems therapy, this form of conversation allows us to attune to the signals and sensations in your body, so we can unwind patterns of behavior and thinking keeping you stuck and acting in ways you don't want.
For most, spirituality and energy enter this work on their own. We can lean into the to the extent of your comfort.
Most approaches work on one level. We work together on all three, because lasting transformation requires your biology, your body, and your belief system to move together.

PREVIOUS CLIENTS

LAUREN, GA
"Her spirit, knowledge, and depth of understanding is unmatchable. I have worked with several therapist/specialist, and none are able to see through my mess, and hear my message. Meagan is a soul reader and has done more for me, than anyone else."
BIRGITTE, ID
"I can't say enough about the beautiful, raw authenticity of working with Meagan for 6+ weeks. Not only will she give her honest attuned insight she holds loving and nonjudgmental space for whatever you bring to her. Her tool box and attunement to body is vast. "
BRI, GA
“Meagan’s expertise was the miracle I did not know I was missing. I am so excited to have her guide me on my spiritual journey to self healing after battling breast cancer last year. Somatics helped me reach all those trapped spaces and release the negative energy I built up inside. ”
FAQ
What is meant by the term "somatics"?
Somatics is a body-based approach to healing that works with your nervous system, not just your thoughts. Rather than only talking through what happened, we work with how your body is still holding it—which is often where lasting change actually happens.
What makes working with you different?
My certifications are in breathwork, Reiki, nervous system education, and somatic coaching—but my work is an integrated approach that bridges all of them, not four modalities. I help clients move out of nervous system states of fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown and into safety and groundedness. I support people through the hardest points of adulthood—divorce, spiritual awakening, midlife transitions—and help them integrate significant experiences, whether that's therapy, plant medicine, or a loss. I do this not only through the lens of my education and training, but as a person who’s walked these paths myself.
Who do you typically work with?
Most of my clients are women already deep in their own healing journey—often therapy ‘graduates’, sometimes practitioners themselves, moving through divorce, grief, spiritual awakening, or a major midlife shift. My clients may come to me with different life ‘symptoms’ but they all share a sense of anxiousness, lost purpose and needing to build a new version of themselves and their lives.
Are your services trauma-informed?
Yes. My somatic coaching and breathwork training were both completed through a trauma-informed lens, which shapes how I hold every session—recognizing how trauma lives in the body, and pacing the work so you're never pushed past what feels safe.
Where are you located?
I'm based in Kennesaw, GA, and work with clients both locally and online.
I know this terrain well, because I've lived it.
I didn't choose this work—it found me during one of the most difficult periods of my life, when I lost my marriage, my father, and my job within months of each other. My path has also included addiction recovery, child loss, and late ADHD diagnosis.
I've spent years studying the nervous system, trauma, and the body's role in healing, while also walking the path myself. I hold a master's degree, am a certified somatic coach and breathwork facilitator, and have over a decade sober.
Now, I work at the intersection of somatic science, education, and energy work—because healing takes an integrated approach of body, brain, and spirit to actually reach and unwind the patterns we carry. That integration is exactly where my training and my own recovery meet.
I don't just teach you what I've learned in books—I show you the path I took myself—how to renegotiate the relationship you have with yourself, so you can live with sovereignty and peace.
